Description:
Neshoba County General Hospital is seeking an Accountant to join our team. Under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer, the primary responsibilities will include preparing and processing journal entries for month-end financial statement close and performing account reconciliations on balance sheet accounts. This individual also prepares monthly statistics reports, maintains the fixed assets system, works with auditors on the fiscal year-end financial statement audit, and compiles the necessary documentation for the annual cost report.

Requirements:
• Bachelor of Professional Accountancy or business-related degree
• Excel skills are essential and knowledge of healthcare accounting is preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized and ability to multitask efficiently and effectively
